Examination of foreigners in Bratislava

1. proof of identity (passport)
2. stool sample and urine sample (sterile containers can be purchased at the pharmacy)

4. persons under 18 years of age should be accompanied by a parent or bring a parent’s consent, you can download it from the following links (SLOVAK / RUSSIAN), (SLOVAK / ENGLISH). Just in one language, and a signed photocopy is sufficient.

Yes, it is necessary to come on an empty stomach, you should drink at least 3 dcl of pure water in the morning. You can have a light breakfast, for example bread with butter.

It is necessary to block about 1 hour for the examination. At the place of the examination, the foreigner follows the instructions of the examining health professional.

The earliest a foreigner can collect a certificate stating that he/she does not suffer from a disease endangering public health is on the 5^th – 7^th working day after the medical examination. Or the foreigner can call +421 948 350 123 to find out whether his/her certificate has been issued and he/she can then collect the certificate.

The health care provider – health facility may deliver the medical report to the relevant department of the foreign police if requested by the client.

If the foreigner does not meet the terms and conditions for the issuance of a certificate that he/she does not suffer from a disease endangering public health, the certificate for the purposes of Act No. 404/2011 Coll. on Residence of Foreigners will not be issued to him/her. The fee paid shall not be refunded. The treatment of the disease and the further procedure in relation to the foreign police is not within the competence of the health care provider or the health care facility, unless the health care facility concludes a special contract with the foreigner for the provision of health care for the purpose of treating the disease. The foreigner must arrange for the treatment and the further procedure at his/her own expense.

The medical report will be issued by a doctor with a specialisation in infectious diseases of the department for infectious diseases and tropical medicine authorised to issue such medical report pursuant to Section 124 of the Act on the Residence of Aliens.
